Warranty Policy

WARRANTY SCOPE
All our products are covered by KOCAMAN PET assurance in accordance with the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, and the Law on the Protection of Consumers No. 6502, depending on the nature of the transaction.

  1. Warranty Determination:Whether the products are under warranty is determined solely by a technical inspection to be conducted at our company address.
  2. Invalid Inspection Methods:Warranty coverage cannot be determined through applications made via written or visual media, social media, and other digital platforms.
  3. Post-Inspection Information:The report prepared as a result of the technical inspection will be shared with the sender of the product.
  4. Production Defect Determination:If a production defect is identified as a result of the inspection, the product will be replaced and sent with a new product.
  5. User Defect Determination:When defects caused by user error are identified:

    • Repairable products will be repaired and sent back.
    • Detailed information will be provided to the user regarding products that cannot be repaired.

This warranty scope has been prepared by KOCAMAN PET to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.

WARRANTY PERIOD
The warranty periods and conditions for the pet products we sell are specified below:

  • Accessories (Leash, bag, clothing, toy, etc.):Since they are not considered durable consumer goods, the warranty period is 6 months when used correctly.
  • Electronic Items (Water fountain, anti-barking collar, etc.):Considered a durable consumer good and has a warranty period of 24 months when used correctly.
  • Reward Treats (Leather chews, soft treats, biscuits, creams, etc.):Can be consumed until the expiration date if the proper storage conditions specified on the packaging are followed and the packaging is unopened.
  • Cosmetic Products (Shampoos, sprays, drops, creams, etc.):Can be used until the expiration date if the proper storage conditions specified on the packaging are followed and the packaging is unopened.

USER ERRORS AND SITUATIONS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
The following situations are considered user errors and are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Accessories (Collar, Bag, Clothing, Toy, etc.)

    • Bite marks
    • Damage caused by the use of cutting/piercing tools
    • Compromise of originality
    • Use contrary to the instructions
    • Wear or damage to the product due to incorrect size selection
  • Electronic Items (Water Fountain, Anti-Barking Collar, etc.)

    • Bite marks
    • Damage caused by the use of cutting/piercing tools
    • Compromise of originality
    • Use contrary to the instructions
    • Technical malfunctions caused by the use of an inappropriate charging device
  • Reward Treats (Leather Chews, Soft Treats, Biscuits, Creams, etc.)

    • Deteriorations and deformations occurring due to non-compliance with the precautions or storage conditions specified on the packaging.
  • Cosmetic Products (Shampoos, Sprays, Drops, Creams, etc.)

    • Product spoilage or loss of effectiveness due to non-compliance with the precautions or storage conditions specified on the packaging.
  • Additional Situations Outside the Warranty Scope

    • Incorrect assembly or installation
    • Use of the product for purposes other than intended
    • Natural disasters and external factors (Fire, flood, earthquake, chemicals, excessive humidity, high temperature, etc.)
    • Unauthorized intervention and repair
    • Customer-related situations in custom-made and personalized products
    • Consumable products (Treats and cosmetic products)
    • Opened and used hygiene products (Bedding, cushions, food bowls, etc.)
    • Wear, tear, and color changes that occur naturally during the use of the products are not covered by the warranty.

HOW TO SEND THE PRODUCT FOR WARRANTY AND REPAIR

  1. Sales Invoice and Warranty Certificate:To benefit from the warranty, the sales invoice and (if available) warranty certificate must be presented. Warranty service cannot be provided without these documents.
  2. Problem Description:A detailed text explaining the problem with the product should be prepared, and contact information should be included. If possible, the breed and weight information of the pet using the product should be shared.
  3. Shipping:All products to be shipped must be sent with our contracted couriers. In this case, the shipping cost will be covered by our company:

    • DHL Cargo: 285216419
    • You can send your cargo by providing these codes to the relevant branch for cash on delivery.
  4. Production Defect Detection:If a manufacturing defect is detected as a result of the technical review, the shipping cost for the new product to be sent will be covered by our company.
  5. User Fault Detection:If a user fault is detected as a result of the technical review, the sender will be informed before any intervention. Shipping will be provided if the user covers the shipping cost for the repaired or returned product.
